Measurement Guide

Measure With Confidence
A Few Careful Minutes Can Make All The Difference
Accurate measurements are an important part of creating your wedding dress. We recommend having another person help you whenever possible and measuring over lightweight, close-fitting clothing or undergarments similar to what you plan to wear with your gown. Stand naturally, keep the measuring tape comfortably against your body without pulling it too tight, and record each measurement exactly as taken.
-
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape level across your back.
-
Under Bust: Measure directly beneath your bust, keeping the tape comfortably fitted around your body.
-
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest area of your torso. Do not pull your stomach in.
-
Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
-
Hollow To Floor: Measure from the hollow at the base of your neck straight down to the floor while standing naturally.
-
Shoulder To Floor: Measure from the top of your shoulder vertically down to the floor.
-
Shoulder Width: Measure across your back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other.
-
Arm Length: With your arm slightly bent, measure from the shoulder down to your wrist.
-
Upper Arm: Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm without pulling the tape tightly.
-
Wrist: Measure around your wrist where the sleeve would naturally end.
- Heel Height: Enter the approximate heel height of the shoes you expect to wear with your wedding dress.
One Last Check
Measure Twice, Submit Once
Before submitting your form, review every measurement carefully and confirm whether you used inches or centimeters. We recommend taking each measurement twice. If the two results are different, measure again before submitting rather than estimating.
